This year, we are honored to celebrate the 12th annual New American Hero Awards during Immigrant Heritage Month in Washington, D.C. This year carries special significance as the nation marks its 250th anniversary, reflecting on the state of our democracy, and looking ahead to what the next era must demand and deliver.
